Oliver Megram

Overview

Ollie Megram is an Analytical Spectroscopy Researcher at MTIF. As a researcher he focused on the optimization and development of benchtop NMR. With a wealth of experience in optimizing and developing laboratory workflows in both high-throughput and small-scale labs, Ollie’s main research currently explores different metabolic diseases and biofluids using bNMR spectrometers for future detection, diagnostics, and monitoring purposes.

At MTIF, Ollie primarily utilizes state-of-the-art benchtop NMR spectrometers to conduct a wide range of analyses and experiments. These instruments offer high sensitivity and resolution, allowing for detailed insights into molecular structure and composition. Ollie has also utilized the 3D printer to manufacture equipment to further optimize the bNMR spectrometers. Additionally, he takes advantage of the sample preparation capabilities of the innovation centre, including biosafety cabinets, a freeze dryer, and centrifuges.
